What do you get when you throw 2 Berkshire poets, a poetry-spouting chef, and an area English teacher and some of her students into a windowless room, feed them nothing but a short writing prompt every day, and force them to write a poem a day for the month of April?
Berkshire poets Seth Brown and matt mcfadden, along with Mission chef James Burden and Miss Hall’s English teacher Emily Pulfer-Terino and some of her students picked up WxW’s poetry gauntlet and agreed to construct one new poem each day for the month of April. The month’s efforts culminated in a finale performance and open mic on Saturday April 30th at Shawn’s Barber Shop in P-field at 8pm.
Seth, matt, and Emily and her students’ daily poems were posted daily.
